I rue the day my mom gave my Schwinn "Orange Krate" bike to goodwill, that sucker would be worth quite a bit today.

PT,

When the Josh White was stolen was my first lesson in insurance. I had renter's insurance - the person I talked to at the insurance company was a guitar nut - she told me the guitar had appreciated in value (I had bought it from a guy in college who had also bought it second hand). Turns out, that model was from the late 1950's. Long story short - I was paid $600 for it. I went to the Guitar Emporium in Cambridge and bought the D28 - they mostly had blond-tops but there was one sunburst among them and I immediately fell in love with it. I also bought a bomb-proof hard case.

Today it has lots dings on it (like me I guess) - but the sound is spectacular.(not like me)
