I have great respect for old soldiers Josh. Young ones too for that matter.. There are a lot of army ads running on TV yesterday during NCAA. Very good ones actually. My daughter in law (new mom) made a face and both by son and i said something about someone having to do it. Both son and I have egalitarian strain in our thinking that exists side by side with the libertarian. So guys like murtha i like, even though age may cloud an old soldiers judgemment from time to time. WE need a new team so i think rummy cheney should go. Bush has three more years and he needs new folks. Otherwise cheney and rummy will die in office and be removed feet first.. Save rummy and cheney--hire younger dudes.

Murtha has 100% credibility. No showboating at all. When he speaks he represents the Pentagon chiefs, what they cannot say publicly. No one in DC cares more about our troops than Jack Murtha. And he is a conservative hawk, not a liberal.
