<You are making a great effort NOT to get this, aren't you??>

LOL, actually clearly YOU don't get it:

<Just because facts do not have infinite certainty does not mean they are indistinguishable from superstitions.>

NO, if we don't have infinite certainty it means SOME are.

Get it now?

<Is there any chance you might consider addressing the logical basis for some of your vaunted opinions rather than simply asserting the obvious (jmho, bwtfdik, and all that clabber??)>

I think you need to learn to use Google... lot's of good reading on ALL the science related concepts I've mentioned. I'm not going to 'spoon feed' you things you haven't even attempted to understand on your own.

<You simply do not understand quantum mechanics.>

ROFLMAO!!!

<You drop these unformed ideas into the middle of a post and you (apparently) expect some sort of argument for or against.>

NO NO NO... see that's YOU saying that... that's what YOU THINK I want. I'm sincere about those topics being interesting and worth reading about.... you are the one who thinks he needs to refute everyting. I don't know what that's about, you'll have to look into it.

<But for or against WHAT is the question that keeps sprawling across the tracks of your posts.>

For truth... just because it can't be said in words that you or I can understand doesn't make it 'not' the truth. As I said a long time ago: Words are linear, the universe (truth, god, whatever) is non linear... you can't describe the truth with words... they are only pointers.

How about this, in mathematical terms (since I don't get QM, I'll try math... -ggg): Since thoughts or words are a subset of the universe, they can never fully describe the universe. Or using the age old parallel, when you're really getting off on an incredible sunset... and you open your mouth to describe it or talk about it... you just "ruined" the sunset and everyone says shut up.

<"Hey! I've got something to say! If you really cared about me you would read my mind and you would research on my behalf and you would put all my thoughts into decent English!">

Correction... I'm saying: "Hey!, this is interesting... I don't care what you think of me, but I think this is pretty helpful stuff, you may want to read up about it... here are some interesting concepts and books IMHO."

To which you, without fail, feel the need to reject the idea without even: 1.) reading any of them 2.) even doing a web search on the topic (universe as a holigram for instance), or 3.) asking a further question other than one which is clearly lazy and meant as a distraction rather than a real search for meaning... like "What kind of hologram DAK??"

<Well--sorry, DAK! I'm not your mother! >

ROFLMAO!!

<If you think it is important to discuss whether Jesus existed >

Dude, YOU bring that up every time, not me. I don't care what anyone thinks of Jesus. His relevance today is WAY overrated anyway, regardless of the truth of that fact.

<But your pouting does not impress.>

Right... and pouting is pouting regardless of the pouter.

<And your unwillingness to acknowledge the validity of points made does not impress, either.>

And that would be which point(s)?

DAK

<You simply do not understand quantum mechanics.>

Oh, yea, and I almost forgot... that was ANOTHER reference I provided you apparently didn't bother to look or do a search on. Yawn... that's OK, physicists are still working on all that, you'd just chose the interpretation that fit your already decided viewpoint. Me too. :)

Besides, it's 'good' you 'understand' QM, might want to go to the next conference on the newest stuff coming out, you can tell them all why they should go home.
