CFC is the biggest mortgage originator with 15.7% share, WFC comes second with 12.6% and WM is third with 8%. I consider CFC as leaner and more flexible and aggressive. So I think bloated WFC and WM must be hurting by slowdown in mortgage origination. The big hope is for the market to re-invigorate by Summer. Will their hope come true? If it won't they will have to cut thousands of jobs along with cutting earnings.
