" "But I have shown you a great deal of proof. You may not find it definitive, but you do not appear to be even giving the matter honest consideration. "YOU are the one who thinks he knows the truth about it!! Got that... it's YOUR need to somehow think there needs to be a definitive answer for it all. It's YOU that think it matters somehow! That's called EGO " WHOA! DOWN, BOY! Just take a deep breath there, young fella!"All sorts of scientists would tell you they think there was probably a guy (Jesus) that people followed around. So? " So, if there was, He was not the mythic figure we read about in the New Testament."Excuse me but you're the one that has done ZERO reading on the topic ever since I got here " Son, I read more books before I was ten than you've read in your lifetime! I did not need to see your spelling of catalyst as "catalist" to know the kind of education I was dealing with. Your every post gives you away as a semi-literate bumpkin. Notice, I've said nothing on this matter until now. But you have chosen to escalate the bee in your bonnet into an opportunity to insult and denigrate--so good luck to you with that!"Dude, I'm assuming you want my viewpoint, since I can't give you other peoples viewpoints or reasons, only my own " But how does "the Christian God is without sin" lead you to that unified field non sequitur?? I know you hate being questioned, but it seemed very bizarre to me."My viewpoint is that if there is a god it would be something like the unified field, as that seems to be a good description of what god could be (omnipresent, omniscient, etc). " For what reason do you ascribe knowledge to a TOE? I mean if physics can be reduced to one fundamental force, how does that imply that that force is intelligent?"Why? If we're looking for the truth, and you think there IS NO truth in religion, why differentiate at all? " Firstly, you have made asinine assumptions. Secondly, the act of investigating the Nature of Truth and the possibilities of the universe necessitates clear premises connected by careful logic. If it is sufficient for you to smear premises across one another like a baby smearing feces across her face, then THAT is fine for you. But I like the rabbit pellets in one pile and the horse turds in another. And when I talk about the Christian God I am not talking about Allah.
