Now you are quoting scott ritter? Karen we have gotten to the same point from different routes. Those of us who supported the war didnt need wmds alone to support it. There were plenty of reasons to get rid of saddam. Problem is that we had adminstrators who were from the general motors school of ops, not General Electric. If Jack Welch or John Chambers were in charge instead of rummy and shooter, we would have alot better off today. I just told my daughter who agrees with you more than me, that in any case, no matter how our thinking has evolved to this point, we have to root for bush. We have to pressure republicans to put pressure on bush to get new blood. We must hope that the competent folks now on the ground following a more rational policy today than earlier can pull a rabbit out of the hat. Hatred of bush should not let us forget our troops or remember how bad a loss in iraq would be for the wot over generations. mike
