"All of us poor folk down here, black and white, yellow and red, cajuns, aliens, and everyone else, grew up together, went to school together, live together, go to church together, and die together"

To be fair, that is more true of the small towns than the large cities, but yes. The South gets painted as a bunch of redneck racists, which it isn't for the most part. Yeah, we have them, but they really aren't the face of the South.

All of us poor folk down here, black and white, yellow and red, cajuns, aliens, and everyone else, grew up together, went to school together, live together, go to church together, and die together. It's you boys who ain't never lived with racial diversity are all of a sudden experts at it since you are experienced having already screwed up your lives.

Thanks for some of your background but it doesn't even begin to answer the question. Let me repeat it for you:

~How does a white, rich good ole boy know what's best for a black single mother of 3 children?~

And just for the record, the South didn't invent diversity and you know nothing about my childhood so don't be making your bubba assumptions. TIA.

My answer to that would be "come on down yankee" and git urseff an ejikayshun.

No thanks. I've seen what an "ejikayshun" has done for you.
