And don't forget that Carter supported Bush on the ports deal...so either Carter is getting smarter in his old age, or he and Bush are actually.....simpatico. Whoa.

Buddy, There is nothing wrong with emphasis on Democracy, and human rights, but how one does is sometimes different than what they said. Carter was inept, and caved in the face of every problem that arose. He made the stupid order to send those choppers into the desert to get the diplomats out of the prison in Iran, and the military tried to tell him that the sand would foul the engines, but he did it anyway, and the effort failed miserably. He also made no bones about glorifying the United Nation, and leans very far toward a world government as opposed to sovereign states. That would be to America, like getting castrated is to a man.

Ross Perot, as goofy as he is, was able to get his guys out of there.
