Bush defends rather than blames the military. There's a premise for you to chew on as you revamp your silly thought there. Our Founding fathers WHAT? LOL...our founding fathers knew, as all sensible people since know well, it "takes a village" to win a war. LOL You may indeed be living in a very different village, near as I can tell. Perhaps the far right is right, the likes of you ARE unpatriotic. LOL...as if this sort of claim hasn't been dispelled by the president himself, while promoted by you in the reverse.

A silly comment...

It is outrageous for a C-in-C to blame the military for failures in Iraq. The ultimate authority is placed in a civilian office, that of a democratically elecetd President. Our founding fathers recognized that war is won or lost not by generals but bu the President since he/she brings together the military and the political aspect to a war.
