Iraq never harbored Al Qaida. Just the opposite. Al Qaida and Saddam were enemies, or at least future potential enemies.

It was during the Reagan administration that Saddam gassed the Kurds. Maybe with gas Rumsfield sold him. Reagan and his people said nothing about it, tolerated and condoned it. Why? Because Saddam was their ally.
