You would be absolutely correct sir. Oh to be able to turn back time to the moment that Bush decided to pull the weapons inspectors out. Back when all the cards were still on the table. So much more could have been done to bring democracy and opportunity to Iraq.

We should have been concentrating on weakening Saddam and strengthening the people. The sanctions were bogus, because they were limiting medicines and food. Who the hell thought up these stupid sanctions? The sanctions wrongly targeted the people and not the leadership.

Some simple changes in the way we boxed him in could have had great results for the people of Iraq.

Invasion, without planning for a complete occupation, simply lead to chaos. What a waste of blood and treasure. The plan hatched by Rummy and Dummy was doomed to failure from the beginning. Imagine Rummy only wanted to use 40,000 troops to take out Saddam. The generals were calling for more like 250,000. This was Franks' number, as detailed in his book. They settled on 150,000. That proved to be way short of what was needed to secure the peace...that was apparent on the day that the looting began.

Flowers and music? WRONG!!!!
