O/T: I presume you're going to ride 2-up, and there no substitute for HP and large brakes in that case. If you're into the Euro Cafe Racer style then the new StreetRod with the 120HP, fuel-injected Porche-design Revolution engine is the way to go. They are very smooth running, tremendous passing torque, and the huge disk brakes will haul you down to '0' in nothing flat. I could look it up, but I recall the lean angle being 40+ degrees, and the mags and big tires are very sticky. jl-harley.com

If you like the more classic seating style, I'd get a 2006 1200 Sportster with mags (..wire wheels are a pain to keep clean and properly adjusted..). topspokerentals.com They handle well and are lighter than the big hawgs - so they have plenty of Oooomph and whoa-Nellie, also. You can get a bikini-fairing or small windshield if you want one for H-D Parts.

If the wife is willing to learn to ride, an 883R or 883 low-rider with mags would be perfect for her.

John :-)
