09:27 TASR TASER: New Jersey reconsiders its stance on TASERs, indicating a continued shift in sentiment - Merriman (10.23 )

Merriman says that according to an article published this morning, New Jersey's Attorney General is reconsidering the state's stance as being the only state in the country that does not allow the use of TASERs by either the civilian or law enforcement communities. Firm's channel checks, in addition to reconsiderations such as this one by New Jersey, indicate that this trend is gaining momentum, which they believe will begin to manifest itself in the co's financial results in the coming quarters. With sales growth averaging 35% in FY06 and FY07 and EPS growth averaging 300%+, they believe a 40x multiple on their "potential" FY07 EPS estimate of $0.40-0.50 is reasonable -- yielding 12-month valuations of $16.00-20.00.
