O/T: If you join "..H.O.G..." (..Harley Owner's Group..) and have adequate insurance, many Harley dealers have rentals these days. It might be fun to rent several different 'putt's for a weekend each and go on rides with the H.O.G. group in your area. There's security in numbers on the road, your wife could gab with the other ladies, and if you become uncomfortable, something quits, or a tire went soft - you could lock the scooter up at a gas station, etc. Let the dealer worry about retrieving it - while you ride back home with someone else in the group.
