Regardless of whether you or anybody else is "fed up" with Congress, it's there. Not going anywhere.

And there's an election in 7 months.

Speaking of which, it appears that a majority would prefer that the Democrats take Congress back.

Seems to me that many who post on this board see the board as a haven for Bush fans who prefer to remain insulated from the vicissitudes of politics.

Not the way it started, and I hope that's not the way it's gone. If not, I have a suggestion:

Wake up, we're in danger of losing control of Congress to the Democrats!

Not to mention the Presidency in 2008.

Maybe you don't care, but I do.

AOL polls are far from scientific, but I recall that they used to be favorable to Bush and his policies. Not today. 85-15 against, as I post.

Of course, it might be simple group action on the part of the moonbats at Democrat Underground.

BUT -- one thing about AOL polls. You can only vote once per username.

I recall seeing some prior presidential political polls that also asked questions about Congress. The democrats usually came out lower than the republicans and Congress came out lower than the President. That is a few months back though. Haven't researched anything lately. The more recent polls are largely a food feeding frenzy courtesy of MSM.

Another GREAT SPEECH by President Bush today, this one off the cuff and spontaneous. I LOVED IT when the President SPARRED with Helen Thomas and most would say HE CAME OUT ON TOP. Personally, I think Thomas has WAY outlived her usefulness. Surprised they let her continue to mouth off. jdn
