Ok. My point is that it is irrelevant if the founders were right or wrong about inalienable rights being granted by God, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, or the ether of space. The disputed origin of those rights is immaterial. All that really matters is that we all agree that these inalienable rights exist.

Some (I'm not saying you) would say that the declaration by the founders that these rights are from God can be extrapolated to mean that we should establish a theocracy. Crazy, yes, but they're out there. If they take control, we'll see such theocratic evil up close...
