I'm sorry, did I mis-characterize your position?

Yes.

My position was something along the lines of the idea that this path might have good results, but that there is a lot of risk and uncertainty involved in it. With the belief that there was an active WMD program I supported the invasion but not with eagerness. No that it appears that all there was, was a eventual plan to resume the WMD programs rather than any active programs (or at least any active programs of any significant scale) that support would be lessened, but now that we are already there I don't advocate a cut and run strategy. I think if I knew then what I know now I wouldn't have been an active supporter of the invasion, but I might not have been an active opponent either. Things have gone worse than I expected but I don't have the same opinion that you apparently have, that the situation has already been a disaster and is on the path to be a major disaster.
