I'm sure you've heard of the Northern Lights that display themselves at both poles of the earth, yes, there are also the Southern Lights at the south pole... well, the solar wind, which is comprised of intense radiation, is blown outward in every direction and therefore the Earth is right in its path... if it weren't for the Earth's magnetic field, we would be incinerated each time the sun sends out a wind... the Earth's magnetic field is the weakest at both poles, this is where the wind can be seen in the form of the Northern Lights... this blast of radiation is becoming more and more frequent and more intense, and our magnetic field is also beginning to weaken... in fact, the path of the magnetic field had reversed direction recently, ask you local scientists if you think I'm making this up...
