I thought bush did well in the Q&A yesterday but his defense of rumsfeld made me sick. A CEO without the stones to fire someone. Today i read in the NYTimes that at cabinet meetings Rummy is treated as an "eccentric uncle." Bushes "corporate" type presidency was never my cup of tea. I dont think the model works for government however if you claim to run a corporate admin, at least be prepred to do the dirty work that comes with the job. How bush governs reminds me of france today in the throse of student rebellion against at "at will" firing provisions for young workers designed to get industry to hire the young rather than go the temp route. And Villepan is getting ready to cave. Bush caves when it comes to accountablility. Truth be told, i would vote for russ feingold over bush today. And Hillary too for that matter, who writes on this thread as Eleuthra the Unknown.
