Chuck Redmond was the captain of the Gonzaga team and he was our 9th grade student teacher. He brought Jean Claude Lefebvre (7'3 3/4") with him one day. I stood beside him and I came to his elbow. Those of us who were on the basketball team in Jr. High shagged balls for him at lunch time. He was kind of clumsy but he was very tall for those days. I think his shoes were 13 or 14 when they finally found some that would fit him. I don't think you could legally dunk in the 50's.
