We were never a Democracy, always a Republic. re: If you believe in the reality of people being represented, then a percent-based allocation system is natural to that belief. If you do it by parties, yes that is relatively simple to implement. But if you do it by other categories, I can't imagine what that system would look like. And for either you would have to amend the constitution, a high hurdle. John
