Depends on what you say 'Christian' is, I guess.

For example... a Christian theocracy, say... the Holy Roman Empire, or Ferdinand and Isabella's Spain, or the Papal State... could not these, and others, be described as --- in large part --- secular rule by religious authorities?

Would that make them 'un-Christian' if you define Christianity as inimical to the exercise of secular governmental power?
