Perhaps the thinking is a unified debasement of currency worldwide will in the end all offset each other and mask the mounting twin deficits in the US?

One possibility thrown out here often I can't fathom is a coming deflation, collapse in asset values and lower interest rates happening together..I give that zero chance of happening now.. More than likely we are here at a period comparable to the early 1970's with home values and artificially low interest rates the major differences IMHO.
