Thanks. Those are perhaps near the ethical line, but it's not that clear that any of the existing treatments for advanced rcc or liver cancer are any better than placebo on a quality of life measure. For example, Il-2 works some for rcc, but by all accounts the se are intolerable.

Bottom line is I still think this issue should be handled by the Ethics Boards approving the trials, not by legislation.
