A retired Lt Col. Rockwell known as "Rocky" 60 years old, was on the radio today talking about the media's lack of interest in any of the good things happening in Iraq. He is attached to the 10th Mountain Division at Camp Liberty as a civilian by choice.

He had no problem with the media talking about the bad stuff, but he wants the good stuff reported too. He said just today, they found FIVE caches of arms....didn't see that on CNN did you? Many other things he mentioned too.

He also wrote Murtha a letter basically telling Murtha he did not have a clue what he was talking about. There was NO reply from Murtha OR any of his staff.

Two damning indictments against the American media (unfortunately including "fair and balanced" Fox News):

1) The arbitrary decision of the "vast wasteland", as a bloc, to refuse to show the 911 footage, on the outrageous excuse that it "scares the kids". A public school system that can't teach them how to find Mexico on a globe, or write a full sentence, should be scaring the kids far more that a media that denies them current events in Goebbels-like fashion (or, perhaps, not.)

2) The aggressive cover-up of the victory and progress in Iraq, and it's implications for the future of the war with subhuman Islam. In this case, the left wing MSM does it because they don't want the public to find out, while Fox does it because they draw better ratings from populist hysteria and second guessing about anything from hurricanes to wars to trials.

The MSM is hopeless, but to Fox we should say: Same old shit-different "justification". Fair-and-balanced is very difficult, and it's easy to slide down from a higher standard. Work on it!...
