Russ, I noticed you mentioned on your short selling thread that you rarely straight short a stock.

Are you involved in the homies via bear spreads or some other mechanism?

I think bear spreads might make a lot of sense in these names due to the limited risk.

Of course, limited risk equals limited reward. Those trying to hit a home run would probably use otm puts or a straight short.

The Company repurchased two million shares of its common stock during the first quarter of 2006 at an aggregate price of $154.4 million. As of February 28, 2006, the Company had authorization to repurchase an additional eight million shares under its current board-approved repurchase program.

That is like 77 per shr. Can you imagine how far KBH would have gone down without the repurchase?
