I think you guys are cooking up a conspiracy where there isn't one. My MP3 player has an audio record feature I never use. It's occurred to me that all I've got to do is push a button to secretly record conversations. It'll record for hours, since it compresses them to MP3 files.
The young neocon probably just turned his on when the teacher started dissing the chimp Ceasar because he knew someone who worshipped the moron, and it would inflame them. He played if for them later and they got cranked up just as expected. It's just the kind of thing a viscous, mean spirited teenager would do.

"No wonder why his grades suck in that class, dear! That commie liberal America-hating teacher WANTS our patriotic son to fail!"

"Most schools don't allow portable technology like MP3 players. The little nazi snuck it in for one reason and one reason only."

And he knew exactly where to take it. It wouldn't surprise me if the file was suitably edited to make it sound worse than it actually was.

The parents must have taken some flack for the dirty deed. They announced publicly that they did not want the teacher fired. That was right after he was reinstated. <g>

One for the good guys!
