It's amusing that she is so adamant that "Objectivism" ideas were hers.

Rand's rejection of Libertarianism ties into her meeting with a man I took a lot of classes from back in the 70's. Andrew J. Galambos. He met with Rand in the late 60s for about six hours to explore his version of "freedom" with her. At that time, he was into the concept of private police forces, justice systems, and armies. None of this set well with Rand and she rejected these concepts.

This pretty well set her views. A.J also become quite vehement in his opposition to the Libertarian party in the late 70's. There is nothing as heated as a discussion between people who share the same principles and differ on the details. Look at Communism vs Fascism.
