I will support creative programs that improve the lot of the kids. Vouchers give parents choice on where to send their kids. The urban public schools will never fix themselves with teachers guaranteed permanent employment thru tenure and administrations of often incompetnet civil service hacks. Unless that is there is competition and thats what vouchers do. I want to give poor parents the same rights as the rich to send their kids to better schools and not be trapped in ghetto slum-schools. I am pro choice.
