Bush lied and got us into a quagmire war. As a result we are less safe now than we were when Bush began, and much-muuch poorer with about a trillion dollars in new debt from that war alone. Iraq was the most poorly and dishonestly planned war in our history, with the possible exception of Vietnam. To defend Bush, who admits that the Iraq War defines his entire presidency is categorically foolish, dishonest and bad for America. The man has failed us all. He needs to go.
