I'm all for vouchers and school choice, but private schools can be picky about who they let in.

And the problem is that for the most part private schools, with the exception of the religious schools, are the fiefdoms for the rich. Thats why i am pro-choice.

Considering the social selection going on in terms of which kids are in private schools, the results aren't all that great. Since so much parental effort is involved in getting kids in to private school, and parental involvement is a big element of school success, I would have expected more of a difference in the results.
