No - Thanks for reminding me.

I check their website and Canadian listings frequently. Their website is still not accessible for anyone outside the company. Nothing shows up on Canadian exchanges, other than the filing. I expect it will list on the Venture exchange. Perhaps I need to email the parent company ...

The one I am waiting for is Newwest Gold (www.newwestgold.com)- a 30-yr old company. I am on their mailing list and have not been informed they have yet filed for a listing. The person I spoke to said they were putting together the filing. They will list on the Toronto Exchange, but IMO a joint IPO on the Toronto and AMEX could be a good possibility.

They did not appear in a big rush since their JV with Newmont is keeping them busy and they don't have money problems. IMO if one of the Nevada juniors comes up with really good results and/or gold goes to $700, that will give them a big push to finally file. BWDIK

They hold 600,000 acres in Nevada, have a JV with Newmont -- Newmont needs more reserves ... maybe Newmont will take them out?

They had a dispute with AuEx over some Nevada property which has been resolved in Newwest's favor. AuEx says they are in discussions, but the person I spoke with at Newwest disagrees with that statement. As of a month ago, there was no agreement on that property for JV or anything else with AuEx. AuEx is backed by NG, so perhaps something will be negotiated. IMO NG is looking to get a foothold in Nevada and AuEx is the first step. BWDIK

I have spoken to Newwest VP twice ... they were surprised anyone knew they existed. I did a post on Newwest, taken from their website:

Check out their website: newwestgold.com

Their JV with Newmont is highlighted on the main webpage.

I apologize if this post is disorganized, repetitive, and rambling ...

Merry

I finally received an answer from Hidefield. He neglected to attached the prospectus. I emailed him asking for it. If you wish a copy of the prospectus when it arrives, email me at

Hello Merry,

We are indeed shareholders of Columbus Gold. The company is currently roadshowing ahead of an IPO expected to occur in late April/early May.

I have attached the prospectus for this IPO to this. If you wish to know anything more about Columbus, feel free to contact me.

Columbus Gold Intercepts 3.1 Metres of 28.94 g/t Gold at Golden Mile Project
09:00 EDT Monday, August 14, 2006

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 14, 2006) - Columbus Gold Corporation (TSX VENTURE:CGT) ("Columbus Gold" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that significant gold mineralization has been encountered in a recently completed drilling program at its Golden Mile gold project (the "Property") in western Nevada. The drilling program consisted of 2,345 metres (m) in fifteen holes; important intercepts include 7.6 m of 4.2 g/t gold in drill hole MI-6 and 9.1 m averaging 13.8 g/t gold in drill hole MI-12, including 3.1 m of 28.94 g/t gold.

Gold mineralization at the project area occurs within irregularly distributed skarn zones for 350 m in a northeasterly direction, and to a depth of 100 m along a variably altered and mineralized contact between Cretaceous quartz monzonite and calcareous sediments of the Triassic Luning and Jurassic Dunlop formations.

The zone remains open to the northeast and at depth. Eleven holes in the current program targeted a mineralized zone which was mined on a small scale in the 1930's and was partially delineated through limited drilling by earlier operators. Results from seven holes which penetrated the mineralized zone are summarized as follows.
