The reason the unsentimental Swedes have wiped out what would be first and seconds grades here is that they don't want to pay the large social bill that quickly comes due when boys and girls are ripped away from their best teachers at home too early." Do women not work in sweden? In the US its programs like Head Start that are needed. I am confused on sweden. Are stay at home moms paid for their educational services to their young. What happens to career oriented women. My grandkids have been going to daycare since they were one year old.
