I dont know what or why msm as you refer to it does what it does. I think they will say special forces rescued these folks and that is credit in and of itself. But the extreme left christians whether on this issue or on palestine, are so guilty about living in an affluent country that the spend their lives trying to make up for it and tear us down. Sort of the opposite of white mans burden--this is the white mans unburden of getting rid of the guilt associated with affluence and abundance. And then they go to the mideast where folks can apparently be killed for converting. What are they thinnking. Same with evangelical missionaries on the right who have differnt motivations and are more traditional white mans burden kind of folks.
