Like IB said (albeit in different and more polite words), the BB is a network of professional market makers rather than a genuine auction market. They have a license to steal. Small wonder then that so many poeople will not touch it because they think that it's rigged, and it is.

The amazing part is that today's version of the BB is the cleaned up version. You should have seen it just a few years ago when issuers didn't even have to file financials -- 99.9% of the listings were scams out of Salt Lake or Boca Raton. Now only 98% of them are scams LOL

That's the way all over the counter stocks were traded until relatively recently, ten years or so, if I remember correctly.
