What I find to be very amusing and laughable is the recent release of documents purporting to show that a relationship between Iraq and Al-Qaeda has existed since about ten years ago---a relationship that was more than the "q" common to both of their names!

Why parade them now instead of trumpeting them from the roof tops years ago with triumphant shouts of

"Didn't I tell you so?
See, we have been right all along! You don't have time to doubt anymore.
We didn't make it all up just for the sake of going to war. Make no mistake! It is imperative that we defeat and/or destroy them once and for all."

That it had taken sooooo veeerrry looong for those documents to surface and especially at a time when Bush desperately needed help cannot but suggest that those documents were probably bogus (that is, they were recent fabrications by Bush's underlings in their attempt to shore up their boss's ratings.)

To be sure, Bush and his henchmen succeeded in foisting off bogus stuff upon an unsuspecting (and scared shitless) public years ago. But are people going to be fooled again? No, except the gullible Bush worshippers and those who continue to labour under the delusion that Bush has a divine mandate to defeat Islam and to democratize and Christianize the Middle East.
