Well many in WI do cabs. And I'm sorry you had to witness that and I've seen several myself, but the fact is arresting a 160lb man in the bar who has had 2 drinks in under 2 hours is not making the roadways a safer place. It's fund raising pure and simple. Next they will set up a machine at the door and in order to exit you have to blow and get your public drunkenness ticket. Hey maybe they can take credit cards and you can swipe and pay on your way out. Just add it too your dinner tab so to speak.

If you examine the vast majority of drunk driving accidents they are caused by repeat offenders, multiple drunk drivings. They are also as a rule nowhere near the .08 but usually are 2 or 3 times that. You truly want to do something to make the roads safer, on the second throw their asses in jail. They have proven that they are unwilling to quit driving drunk so put them away before they kill someone.
