So far the American public still seems to be behaving like rubes at a carnival, despite the "polls". Frankly the effrontery has been so blatant, the fact that there haven't been marches on Washington demanding a change shows that jerks like this Hugh Hewitt party mouthpiece are probably right.

But they've really gotten where they are thanks to bin Laden, not due to any real "genius" of any party strategists.
