These college opportunities are rare. Adam seems like a good kid. But it was a rare shot for the UCLA kids too. Way too much pressure on these young kids. I can't get wrapped up in the tournament too much right now. I've been in a real funk since Tuesday when a senior at the high school out of which I do all my work was killed in a car accident. She was a close friend of a number of my students. They are extremely distraught. Arianne was a three-sport athlete and headed to Vanderbilt. She and her twin sister Caitlin were the stars of the high school and nicknamed "the twin towers." /john
