Rendell is out doing local coffee visits to home owners. The old time get down and shake your hand type campaign style. He visits one house who will open up for twenty to forty neighbors so he can have a chat on current political problems.

He promised that the school tax situation should be resolved in the coming month. There is a meeting with him from both parties to resolve issues in a month and move the bill.

the issue is to raise local income tax , raise sales tax, expand sales tax and perhaps figure out what amount will go to reduce school taxes. Still under question will this be foreced down local school administrations which most all of them turned down last year. they would have to give up their ability to increase taxes at will expect inflation. Do you know of any local school adm that wants to give up their ablility to increase budgets and turn it over to the state?

lastly, local tv politics said Rendell did lose his lead over Swann last week. This is unusual as earlier mentioned.

As for local slots , i get sick in the stomach when i see people like TRUMP coming into the state. You wonder who really got their hands in the register.. when first approved it allowed state representatives to invest in local slot companies.. public went nuts over it and they pulled it from the approved bill. just like the last raise they gave themselves at 2am in the morning. There are about forty people running against state representatives who voted for the raise.. Big time organizations running against incumbents to throw them all out and perhaps Rendell with them.
