Tinseltown is in a dither over the Anthony Pellicano prosecution/investigation, which has so far netted at least one high powered lawyer.

Recently Fleiss was in the "news" as an outgrowth of
the Pellicano investigation because she was illegally wire-tapped by an erstwhile government informant/investigator. In her situation, the Feds declined to prosecute the offending private dick, citing a need to control allocation of scarce resources. In truth, they probably didn't want her to be
portrayed as a victim of anything.

Quoth Fleiss, "There really IS a double standard."
