JF, if anything, the whole "freedom of religion" concept will be the single biggest barrier to democracy in the Middle East. And to be honest, I must admit that I was in denial of this truth until recently.

Outcry rises over Afghan Christian convert

I couldn't believe when I read this one. Talk about intolerance............I can't believe Karzai let this get as far as it has. If the Afghans don't want our interference in this case, then we need to withdraw from there asap.
