Kevin, you don't like it when people put words in your mouth. On message boards, you, me and others often seem to take absolute views. In other words, if you want to have a discussion, don't put words in my mouth. There are elements of the system that are worth retaining. I am of a belief that much can be done to change the system and that Naked Short Scamming is a real issue, that hedge funds need effective and efficient regulation and that MM's role needs to be clearly defined in light of the fact that we are in the 21st century. I do agree with much of what is said about the DTCC. However, I'd start with full disclosure and getting all the facts out rather than saying that "everything is corrupt." Got it?
