3.07% state income tax.. it was below 3% for years increased after Rendell elected. now looking to increase again and eliminated school tax,, or increase income and sales and eliminate school tax.. or increase both and reduce school tax a little.

they should look at cutting the house of representatives in half and that may help some. Perhaps also cut their salaries in half too.

When I lived in PA, there was a sales tax, but food and clothing were exempt. They added an income tax? Glad I don't live there any more

You lived there a long time ago, Moose. :)

PA even has an "occupational privilege tax". If you exercise your privilege to have a job, Harrisburg will gladly hold out the hat, thank you very much.
