As a Christian, I have to say that point of view is akin to the view of Afghans who want to execute that man who converted to Christianity. It's an archaic view, and does more to destroy religious faith than anything I can think of. Christians are capable of growing up, and many have. It's too bad some are hanging their hats on issues that have nothing to do with the spirit. This is just plain silly: I am NOT to say that these rocks are thought to be about 300 million years old."
