why do you assume my impressions are extrapolations based upon only what I cite to you ??? I have dozens of friends in engineering positions they report trends constantly my sample is based more on a few hundred I dont have time or interest to catalog my experience to you I only mentioned the most recent one, learned in February "obnoxious jerk" ??? maybe I am it seemed like you were making silly excuses and weak arguments we have a really bad public education system the jobs are out there, not in numbers anymore the best institutions are still hiring and holding ground if you believe the USA has no research, you are way way off !!! yes, I am obnoxious, you nailed me sorry for my shortcomings, but I dont really care not since I hit 50 in age, not since the experience of 2000 thanks, jim
