If you talk about people, you can expect them to comment. In many ways talking about someone is worse than talking to them, especially when you get everything wrong, and are essentially discussing them where they can watch.

I do not avoid people with whom I disagree, I avoid people whose behavior I do not like. That is all there is to it.
