Ski -- don't get me started on that "priced in Gold" stuff. Why not price it in "LA housing prices" as that has relevance to my every day life.

As for a rally in the broad market, well... picking 5 (or 6) years back as a starting point is lovely to prove ONE point, but what about the broad market (as defined by the RUT which is 4x as broad as the SPX) over the last 2 years? What about over the last 20? What good does it do for anyone to pick on the last 5 years to prove a point? I don't have a 5 year trading timeline. Do you? If so, then it's a good comparison!

But yes... I should be an option seller. There I agree.
