We probably should take this to PM but, on the documentaries note, I saw a new one in Austin, Beethoven's Ear. The South by Southwest Film whatever and music festival whatever was in full swing while I was there.

So we saw a couple of documentaries. Beethoven's Ear has a wonderful full sampling of his music. The theme is the discovery of a lock of his hair via some sort of auction sale in the mid 90s. So the film then traces the history of the lock from the mid 1820s to the present and tells the tale of the DNA tests done on it to determine the sources of his many ailments and particularly his deafness in his later years. Turns out it was lead exposure. Far too high.

I'm not a big fan of documentaries. Still haven't seen the Penguin bit. But this one was more than interesting.

It's just out so won't be a Netflix thing for some time.
