>>It CAN be repeated as though it is believed, if it IS believed, and there is simply no foul in that.<<

Dan -

You can pretty much find someone to believe anything you want to repeat, then. There are people who believe all kinds of things. There are people who believe the attacks on 9/11 were orchestrated by the Bush administration. Does that mean I should repeat that as if it's the truth?

There's contradictory evidence in the case of the supposed Prague meeting, and the testimony is credible only to those who are determined to prove a connection between Al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein no matter what.

Suggesting that I think there should be some "lesser standard" for deciding whether or not to go to war is very wrong of you.

I agree with that. The alleged Atta meeting in Prague does not meet any standard of proof. We're talking about proof and justification for war. The standards for that must be very high indeed, yes? Otherwise treason has been committed.

So far you have convinced me that we have enough evidence to convict Bush and Cheney of treason.

You were also touting information that Putin was giving to Bush about Saddam's plans to attack America. Well it seems that Putin was a pretty good pal of Saddam...feeding him intelligence about the US invasion...and this in captured, detailed written form!

chron.com

Now you still want me to believe Putin? That his "information" about Saddam's plan is a reason for war?

You've yet to present a single shred of evidence for going to war...not a single shred.
